THE NORTH SHORE, BC 2004
One of the biggest log rides i've ever seen or done, this is the end of a good couple of hundred feet of logride, easily 6 foot high in places. 'Boogieman' on Seymour mtn.
Nice drop - to flat! 'Boogieman' showing us double black diamond skinnies - steep, narrow, nasty and all over the place, not for the feint hearted.
No end to the technical skinnies, the North Shore is everything you've heard about and then some. Good times.
A good 15 ft drop, with nasty entrance and exit, right at the end of 'Boogieman'.
NELSON, BC 2004
Nelson, a small hippy town situated in the 'Kootenay' Mtn's, eastern bc. View from the top of 'Goldmember'.
2 1/2 hrs of uphill like this, in over 30 degree heat, to get there!
Big steep logrides on 'Goldmember' made it worth the effort.
Nice log ride to get you warmed up at the start of 'Bedframe'.
Skinny style drop into nice narrow singletrack.
Nelson's trails ('Bedframe' here again) have plenty of drops and skinnys into rooty, rocky singletrack, oh yeah.
First of four drops in a row, so much fun - the way forest track should be.
WHISTLER, BC 2004
Our campsite just outside whistler, proper rustic stuff.
Two bikes ready to session the Garbanzo zone. Blackcomb Mtn in background.
All set up for 'Original Sin' on the Garbanzo extension.
View after the first part of 'Original Sin', this is what chairlifts are for.
Sessioning the 'GLC Drops' after finishing 'Schleyer'.
Huge rockrollover into nasty roots, deep in 'Original Sin', this is what its all about.
PENTICTON, BC 2004
Fantastic lake by our campsite on the way to penticton. By 10 am this place was deserted, criminal.
Looking down to Penticton with Skaha lake from the top of jerry's mountain. Get yourself an outrigger and go rowing on Skaha lake, well worth it.
Nice flowing singletrack up and down Jerry's mountain, nothing hardcore but good fun.
One of the amazing views on the way back to Whistler and Vancouver.
